Acology  Prescription  Compounding

Respiratory Medication by Nebulization

      Medicare Assistance

Medicare and/or your insurance may pay for your respiratory medications, supplies, and equipment.

If needed, Acology will provide you with a nebulizer/compressor with your initial order.  Detailed printed instructions are included for the operation of the equipment.  However, we are never more than a phone call away if you need additional assistance.

If you find inhalers difficult to use, you should know there is another way to take the medications that you need in order to breathe easier.

Do you use a steroid inhaler?
Budesonide is a nebulized steroid medication that is used to treat inflammation in your lungs. If you use Advair Diskus, Serevent, Flovent or a similar steroid inhaler and you cannot use it properly then you might consider the use of Budesonide in your nebulizer instead.

Can you afford your steroid inhaler?
If you skip treatments with your inhaler or do not fill your inhaler prescriptions because of cost, you might consider Budesonide for your nebulizer. Budesonide can be prepared as a once or twice a day medication that you use in your nebulizer as an alternative to an expensive inhaler.

     Easy To Use...

Medications arrive precisely measured and packaged in single-dose vials. All you have to do is to break open a vial and pour the contents into your nebulizer "cup." There is no need for you to carry multiple bottles or measuring devices. No more spills and wasting of expensive medicine. Our unit dose medication program is convenient, safe and cost-effective.
